Immortals bench fnx

1
Immortals has decided to bench Lincoln "fnx" Lau due to internal problems. The teams coach, Rafael "zakk" Fernandes, will take his spot until a replacement is found.
Lau became a part of the team in February when he took João "felps" Vasconcello's place, this was a exchange between Immortals and SK Gaming. Over three months Lau has taken the team to semifinals in Poland during IEM Katowice and a second place at DreamHack Open Austin. The player's first (and only) win with the team was during the Esports Arena Showdown Championship in Santa Ana, California.

"The Immortals CS:GO team has been working hard to reach the next level of competition. As an organization, we remain focused on reaching the top while building a long-term foundation for success. One of the biggest problems we’ve faced are internal issues that, unfortunately, affected in-game performance.

Maintaining a healthy atmosphere is extremely important to us. We are benching Lincoln "fnx" Lau. Immortals is accepting trade offers from other teams, and we will be looking for a permanent replacement for our roster. In the meantime, fnx’s slot will be filled by our capable coach, Rafael "zakk" Fernandes", the organization writes.

The Brazilian player leaves the team due to internal problems, and the organization is currently looking for a replacement for the ESL Pro League finals coming up by the end of May. In their statement, the organization explains that they’re open to possible exchange proposals.

With numbers gaining ground on evaluating Counter-Strike players, many have become more and more wary of trusting them. Fans and analysts vocally prefer what is commonly referred to as the eye test – simply watching the game. Sounds fair, because intuitively it makes sense that watching a game will give you more information to go by than a set of numbers supposed to wrap up everything that took place on the server. But what if it's not so simple?
