NiP release friberg — will continue to play

1
NiP Gaming has now agreed to release Adam "Friberg" Friberg ahead of the coming season. The Swede left the organization's core in June and has since been an analyst and streamer.
Adam "Friberg" Friberg was previously forced to step down from NiP Gaming's starting lineup in order to make way for Fredrik "REZ" Sterner. This happened due to the lacking results with the core quartet and he has since acted as an analyst and streamer under the organization's banner.

On Monday afternoon, the 25-year-old Swede officially announced that he had left the organization to find a new home. In a statement, he explained that he has decided to continue to play at a professional level and has come to cut his contract for the upcoming coming season.

The last couple of weeks I've been thinking a lot what I want to do, keep on playing or try something else. I still feel the hunger and will to keep on playing CSGO at the top level, put in those extra hours to be able to lift a trophy again.

After talking with NiP they have agreed to release me from my contract and put me out as a free agent for the coming season. After being part of the organization since it's rebirth in 2012 it will be strange to not represent them while playing, both the organization and players will still have a big place in my heart.

If you have an offer you can reach me on Twitter DM or email to adamfriberg7@gmail.com

During a live broadcast, after the news of him being cut, Friberg told that he was unsure if he wanted to continue playing. He wanted to wait for the right offer but it is now certain that Friberg is going to continue play, accepting messages from various organizations through Twitter and email.

CS:GO saw a significant increase in prize money distributed during the bigger tournaments throughout 2016. But the promising development has taken a toll, with prize money stagnating during 2017, and we might even see a decrease in the total amount of money being paid out from tournaments.
