REPORT: EG exodus continues as SumaiL and Fear reportedly leave the team

1
Following the massive news of Artour “Arteezy” Babaev and Saahil “UNiVeRsE” Arora leaving Evil Geniuses, Fragbite has now learned that Clinton “Fear” Loomis and Sumail “SumaiL” Syed Hassan are, allegedly, leaving the team.

02:30 CET - 24/03 UPDATE: Fear and SumaiL to remain with Evil Geniuses

Sources who prefer not to be named have told Fragbite, in what can only be considered one of the biggest roster shuffles in Dota history, that EG will stand to lose an additional two players, as Fear and SumaiL resign from the roster.

This comes just an hour after it was officially announced that two of the team’s star players in Arteezy and UNiVeRsE were joining Shanghai Major champions Team Secret. Evil Geniuses', who won the last iteration of Valve's The International last year, is now, reportedly down to a single-man roster as team captain Peter “PPD” Dager remains as the sole member on the organization's Dota 2 squad.

EG continued to display solid form throughout 2016, as they made the finals of the inaugural season of the SL i-Series Championship, a third place finish at the Shanghai Major as well as reaching the finals of the DotaPit Season 4 LAN finals.

Fragbite has reached out to Evil Geniuses for comment, who have as of publication, not yet responded.

Fans and analysts vocally prefer what is commonly referred to as the eye test – simply watching the game. Sounds fair, because intuitively it makes sense that watching a game will give you more information to go by than a set of numbers supposed to wrap up everything that took place on the server. But what if it's not so simple?
