Philips OneBlade Cup set to start with the Swedish Qualifier — register now

1
Fragbite is back to host a new tournament, this time in collaboration with Philips. Be a part of the Nordic countries biggest grass root tournament, Philips OneBlade Cup, and prove that your team is amongst the best.
What Nordic country is the best in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive? Sweden, Denmark or Finland? It's our mission at Fragbite, together with Philips, to find out through Philips OneBlade Cup. Five weeks of qualifiers with live broadcasts of each qualifier end phase. The race for a spot in the main tournament as well as a share of the prize money is set to begin in a few weeks.

Prize distribution for Philips OneBlade Cup

1: SEK 32,000 (~ € 3,335)
2: SEK 18,000 (~ € 1,880)
3-4: SEK 12,000 (~ € 1,260)
5-8: SEK 6,500 (~ € 683)

Between October 9th and 10th, the first qualifier kicks off, solely for Swedish based teams, which means the majority of the team has to be Swedes. The second Swedish qualifier is straight after and is to be played October 11-12. The best teams will fight it out live at the qualification final in their pursuit for the gold medal, all broadcasted on Twitch.

In early 2016, I drew parallels between the record-breaking 2010 Natus Vincere roster and the Brazilian Luminosity team, which is now known as SK Gaming. Today, I am going to compare the 2009 fnatic team – who were knocked off their throne by that same Na`Vi squad mentioned earlier – to the restructured Faze team, featuring the deadly duo of olofmeister and GuardiaN.
