North Academy was revealed on Wednesday, where the F.C. Copenhagen associated organization presented a squad they see high potential in.
The team consists of Frederik "LOMME" Nielsen and Nicolai "glace" Jensen, amongst others. The duo has previously played for Team Preparation with John "wenton" Eriksson and Casper "cadiaN" Møller.

Alexander "ave" Holdt
As you can see for yourselves, the former in game leader Alexander "ave" Holdt is making a comeback to Counter-Strike. The coach has had a rich career as a player with teams like NoA/mTw, together with the Astralis coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen, amongst others. He has also been praised as one of the best in game leaders of all time, which makes a coaching role highly suitable for him.
ave is back!
This marks the second time Holdt takes a step into CS:GO. At the end of 2015, he and his former mTw team mates were reunited under the same banner. However, zonic left the team shortly after to begin his career as a coach, which killed the team's plans.
North are far from alone when it comes to recruiting an Academy team. Fnatic, Gambit, Godsent, Space Soldiers, PENTA and Rogue are some other examples of organizations who has, or have had, an Academy team.
North Academy will be playing their debut at Copenhagen Games 2017 this week, as they have signed up to play the BYOC tournament in Øksnehallen. They have been placed in group C together with their countrymen of Just.MSI and BERITH as well as Red Reserve from Brazil.
