Viewer's guide: How to watch the Female WESG World Finals

Some of the worlds best female players will be fighting for their motherland in the WESG World Finals between March 15-17th. Among the players, we have Ksenia "vilga" Kluenkova, Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie and the whole of Keyd Stars Female.
Shortly after the male portion of WESG World Finals has started, the ladies will enter the arena in Haikou, China. On March 15-17th eight teams will fight for a share of the $170,000 prize pool.

Among the participating players, we see Intel Challenge Katowice winners Amanda "rain" Smith and Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie as well as the whole Keyd Stars Female squad.

Team Sweden decided to switch things up since the european regional finals as Ida "bdN" Martinsson was let go and Matilda "Rambolina" Gustavsson joined in time for the world finals.

Format

Group Stage

The teams have been divided into two groups of four. In these groups, the teams will play each other in a round-robin, best-of-two series. Two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals and the bottom two are eliminated.

Playoffs

The four teams that advance from the group stage will be put against each other in a single-elimination, best-of-three series. The playoffs will start off with semi-finals, then a third-place match and finally the grand final.
