ESL One Cologne is back for the sixth year in a row for another weekend of top level Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Sixteen of the best CS:GO teams in the world will compete for a shot at playing in the legendary LANXESS Arena.

Format

Group Stage
- Two GSL format groups
- Each group will have 8 teams
- Initial matches are Best-of-One while all following matches are Best-of-Three
- Top 3 from each group advance to playoffs:
    - 1st place teams are seeded into semifinals
    - 2nd & 3rd place teams are seeded into quarterfinals


Playoffs

- The playoffs will all be best-of-three matches except the Grand Final which will be a best-of-five.

- The playoffs will feature a single-elimination bracket.
