Major qualifier has come to an end — matches set for the major

After four intense days, with a total of 33 matches, the PGL Krakow Major Qualifier has ended. Amongst the eight qualified teams we find Cloud9, G2 Esports and Immortals.
The final eight challengers has been confirmed after last weekends Major Qualifier in Bucharest, Romania. With a lot of close matches and a several of them going to overtime, many claim it was one of the closest qualfier to date. In the pursuit of a golden ticket to the major, some favourites failed to deliver as we saw both Optic and Godsent with early exits.

With a record of four teams from minors qualifying, a lot of upsets were seen during the course of the four days. Amongst these upsets, Vega Squadron and Penta, who were counted out beforehand, stood out the most with their wins against the likes of Optic, Liquid, dignitas and more.

With Flipsid3 Tactics clinching the last place with their overtime win on Mirage against Liquid, the eight teams were decided. Joined by the eight legends teams, the full lineup for the PGL Krakow Major is complete.

At the end of the major qualifier, PGL announced the first set of matches for the Major later this month, where all legends teams face their respective challengers.
