Space Soldiers qualify for EPL Relegation — Virtus.pro miss out

1
Season 26 of the ESEA Mountain Dew League is over, and the playoffs to decide who will get a chance in the ESL Pro League Relegation matches have been played.
It is Space Soldiers, with a stand-in, who come out on top. Playing with Çağatay "DESPE" Sedef over Ahmet "paz" Karahoca the Turkish side faced Virtus.pro in a best of three series, requiring only two maps to find victory. The match started out with a 16-4 blowout on Cache, with the Space Soldiers taking an easy victory, and whilst the second brought the Poles much closer than the first, they couldn't find the rounds needed to survive in the series, falling 16-13.

With this loss, the struggles of Virtus.pro online continue as they miss out on yet another season of the ESL Pro League, and as such, any chance to attend the LAN Finals. Meanwhile, Space Soldiers will have a chance to play for a spot in next seasons ESL Pro League.
