Optic Gaming disqualified from Game 8 of IEM Katowice PUBG Invitational

1
The IEM Katowice PlayerUnknown'sBattlegrounds Invitational came to an end over a week ago, so you'll be forgiven for thinking that all was done and finished. However it has been announced that the final standings have changed due to a disqualification to Optic Gaming.
The ruling on the disqualification comes after Optic Gaming player Ian "Bahawaka" Crowe was seen on stream abusing a bug, that when you move in a certain way, without a weapon equipped you can see through the wall of a building, which he was hiding inside.

This goes against point 5.6 in the rulebook, entitled "Usage of Bugs, Glitches & Exploits".

So Optic were disqualified from Game 8 of the IEM Katowice PUBG invitational, and as such the other teams below them all move up in the rankings.

The ruling sees the Optic Gaming side fall from second position into fifth, which means they drop out of the money for the event, with the updated final standings for the top 5 are now as follows.

1. Avangar — $25,000
2. Cloud9 — $12,000
3. Noble Esports — $8,000
4. FaZe Clan — $5,000
5. Optic Gaming
