Considered to be one of the greatest coaches in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive history, former Na`Vi coach Sergey "starix" Ischuk will be returning to the player role with Team Spirit.
Having spent roughly two years coaching the former Na`Vi squad, the 29-year-old veteran was removed from the organization on March 10, as the team had struggled to achieve any noteworthy results. During his time behind the team, Na`Vi went on to become one of the most successful teams in CS:GO, with multiple top four placings at some of the game's biggest events.
The Ukrainian veteran will now be occupying Team Spirit's captain spot, which was previously occupied by Anton "kibaken" Kolesnikov.

This will be the first time in roughly one year's time that starix has returned to actively competing on a roster. The last time he found himself playing on a stage was at DreamHack Masters Malmö in 2016 with Na`Vi, as the team's AWPer Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács was unable to attend the group stage.
