Earlier this morning, Copenhagen Games revealed its list of invited teams slated to compete at the 2017 iteration of the event. The invited teams will not have to qualify for the tournament's main event. The list of invited names has, however, provoked Juho "juhob" Lampinen, to air his grievances on Twitter.
The outburst most likely has to do with the fact that iGame.com wasn't among the list of invited teams, and will instead have to battle their way through Copenhagen Game's on-site qualifier to secure a spot at the $50,000 event. Additionally, the tournament organizer's decision to invite the mixteam dreamchasers, which features three players from the current Godsent roster, Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi, as well as the heavily criticized Joel "emilio" Mako, also appears to have contributed to the player's outrage.
The response doesn't necessarily only have to relate to the dreamchasers-situation, seeing as johub's iGame.com is currently ranked higher than several of the other squads that received invitations to the event, according to HLTV.org's ranking
