At the end of last September, deadweight, a team comprised of Norway's most prominent players, became Norse, a player-owned organization.
Under this player-owned model, the team was set to follow in the steps of Astralis and Heroic, under the advisership of RFRSH Entertainment.
However, Martin "cENTRYZ" Brandal and co. results were far from satisfactory. The Norwegians did not become top20 as planned and won only two local tournaments - Gigacon PRIME Championship and Telenorligaen Winter.
Following these results, the team collectively decided to disband and sever their ties with RFRSH Entertainment, who still have a stake in three other Nordic teams - Astralis, GODSENT, and Heroic.
On his personal Twitter account, Vollan said that the team parted ways in good rapport. He also tweeted that he's willing to foray into the role of coaching, as seen in the following tweet.
Norse was represented by these five:
Morten "zEVES" Vollan
Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen
Kristoffer "Mystic" Michelsen
Pål "Polly" Kammen
Henrik "becker" Becker
