Information

Berlin Major 2019  will be organized by StarLadder and ImbaTV and will take place in Berlin (Mercedes-Benz Arena), the tournament will consist in 24 teams fighting for a total prize-pool of $1,000,000 USD.

This will be the 15th Valve-sponsored event and the second Major of 2019.

Format

The New Challengers Stage:

Swiss style group with sixteen teams. All elimination and advancement matches are Best-of-Three, with all other matches being Best-of-Ones. The top eight teams advance to the new legends stage and the bottom eight are eliminated.

The New Legends Stage:

Swiss style group with sixteen teams. All elimination and advancement matches are Best-of-Three, with all other matches being Best-of-Ones. The top eight teams advance to the new champions stage and the bottom eight are eliminated.

The New Champions Stage:

Single elimination bracket. Matches are Best-of-Three.
